One brand after another wants to cooperate with American bottle manufacturers

If you search for the word "Nalgene" on Google, the first common question the search engine provides is: "Why is Nalgene so popular?" This is a valid query.

In most cases, this American brand produces simple BPA-free plastic reusable beverage bottles, which is noble but not particularly cool considering our climate kimchi. But there are collaborations: working with the hottest brands in streetwear has made Nalgene the bottle of choice for hyped kids and serious outdoor genres. Collaborations with brands such as Supreme, Brain Dead, JJJJound, Wander, Bape and Online Ceramics have sold out-all these brands are trying to express their concerns about plastic waste while collecting a bit of Nalgene's adventurous authenticity.

"It is a legal product in itself," said Josh Rothery, a buyer of Outsiders Store, an outdoor clothing store with branches in London and Manchester. "But where it seems a bit difficult to make a collaborative clothing project, brands can give up their Nalgene relatively easily."

Although, obviously it is not that easy. The Outsider Store is currently developing its own special edition Nalgene bottle, but Rothery said that the correct design gave him and his colleagues a headache. Maybe they need to drink more water.
