You can now buy vacuum flasks designed to look just like cans of Pringles, the internationally famous potato chips known for their stackable curved shape, the tall cans they're packaged in, and their logo with the mustachioed Mr P mascot. The vacuum flasks are available in three designs and two sizes.

The three designs reproduce the can designs of the three most popular flavors in Japan, サワークリーム & オニオン "Sour Cream & Onion," うましお "Umashio" (salt), and "CHEEEEEESE" (spelled in English).

With their vacuum insulated structure, the flasks can be used to carry both hot and cold beverages which will be kept at perfect drinking temperature for about 6 hours. Since there's no condensation on the surface, there's no need to worry about tables getting wet when you stand them or your belongings getting wet when you carry them around in your bag.

In addition, the bottom of the flasks is rubberized to prevent slippage, making them convenient and functional. As they're easy to hold, you can take them with you on a walk, go shopping, or during any other activity.

Of course, since they look just like Pringles cans, albeit a bit smaller in size, you'll surely surprise your friends, family members or colleagues when you drink from them or pour out the contents into a glass or mug.

Even the format of the ingredients and nutritional information text is reproduced, but with a few humorous changes in the wording if you read closely.

The 250 ml version are available at Lawson and HMV locations in Japan, as well as HMV & BOOKS online. The 300 ml version will be sold at bookstores in Japan and online booksellers from Feb 18.

In the old days before Pringles shrunk their product in Japan. The chip carton was perfect for hiding cans of beer when entering sports events. Now they don't fit in the smaller tube.

Get rid of the chips and just pour the beer into the chip carton. That will work exceedingly well.

Listing ingredients unabashedly on the flask, including (アミノ酸等) - amino acids, etc - the euphemism for MSG.

Would make sense they would add MSG to their crisps, since it is delicious.

Presumably they just took the same label design they use for the actual canister. Seems silly but people do like their brands.

Goes well in your 1LDK with that Cup Noodles room humidifier,

Don’t give them more bad ideas @Mr.Kipling 9:03am! - Sadly, smaller beer cans may also be on the horizon from Japan’s ‘shrinkflation’ experts:

Not big enough for me.
