Aired on ABC, the popular reality TV show "Shark Tank" follows a team of investors as they decide which entrepreneurs they'd like to help grow. The group, which is made of up Mark Cuban, Barbara Corcoran, Lori Greiner, Robert Herjavec, Daymond John, and Kevin O'Leary, listens to a series of pitches and asks appropriate questions until they find a business that catches their eye.

Per Triathlete, a company called Clean Bottle made an appearance on the show in January 2022. Designed in Silicon Valley, California by founder and triathlete David Mayer, Clean Bottle is a water bottle that promotes cleanliness by opening on both ends. "As an athlete, I was always using water bottles, but they were impossible to clean," Mayer told the judges. "One day while I was on a bike ride the idea hit me — if I could unscrew the bottom as well as the top, then the bottle would be much easier to keep clean."

The simple yet effective product caught Mark Cuban's attention and he invested $60,000 in the company. Where is the company now that it's received such an important boost?

According to SEO Aves, Clean Bottle's sales soared after visiting "Shark Tank." When Mark Cuban, owner of the Dallas Mavericks, invested in the company for an 8% ownership share, it got a significant boost due to his involvement in the sports industry. The company's product line grew to include square bottles made of both plastic and stainless steel as well as various color options to choose from. Custom printing is now available as well, making for a great gift idea. Clean Bottle has an annual revenue of $4 billion as of 2022.

Per Clean Bottle's official website, the water bottle is now sold in more than 5,000 stores across six countries. One of its selections includes a fruit-infusing bottle with a leak-proof silicone gasket. This Tritan plastic bottle comes in five color options and fits most cup holders. The company also offered other types of mugs and tumblers as it continued to grow.
